Doc. Dr. Zdeněk Hojda, CSc. is a historian specialized in cultural history of early modern and modern Europe. He focuses on the history of travel in the early modern period and in the 19th century, especially in relation to issues of cultural transfer and the history of education. He serves as an associate professor at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague.
